StumbleLetter: Voter interest is essential

Most Americans today exhibit little of the patriotism that was exhibited after the terrible events of Sept. 11, 2001.
Will more eligible voters vote by Nov. 5? Are they more politically involved and aware today?
I hope the answers to the above questions are yes. More citizen involvement is essential to keep politicians more interested in public service than in their careers.
