Police go to Florida to get Rundle

Two Metro Police homicide detectives flew from Las Vegas to Orlando, Fla., on Monday to pick up murder suspect William Rundle, whom police believe killed his wife before going on the run for two months.
Rundle has been held in a Florida jail since Oct. 12, when he was arrested at an Orlando hotel on a warrant for murdering his wife, Shirley, in their Las Vegas home.
Metro Police Homicide Lt. Tom Monahan said the detectives will return with Rundle later this week, but wouldn't give the exact day out of security concerns.
Federal charges of fleeing were dropped to allow Nevada authorities to go forward with the murder charge.
The body of Shirley Rundle was found in August near Susanville, Calif. Detectives found what they believe is the murder weapon, a baseball bat, in the Rundle home two weeks ago.
Detectives plan to ask Rundle more questions about his 87-year-old mother, Willa, who hasn't been seen since 1996.
