A former North Las Vegas Police civilian employee facing up to 25 years in prison for stealing cocaine from the department's evidence vault has entered a plea agreement that will guarantee her probation.
Geneva Kincaid Monday pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. In exchange for her guilty plea, prosecutors will dismiss two other charges against her -- misdemeanor embezzlement and drug trafficking.
According to authorities, Henderson Police contacted North Las Vegas Police when Kincaid's stepson, Joshua, told them he had obtained cocaine from his stepmom's purse.
