Georgia M. Amos
Georgia M. Amos, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Missouri. A resident for 49 years, she was a registers nurse and an evangelist, missionary and executive board member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew; one son, Anthony Amos of Las Vegas; and six daughters, Gertrude Ivory of New Orleans and Tora Amos, Lisa Amos, Anita Amos, Yvonne Amos and Toshia Amos, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Mattie Henderson of Washington; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in Praise Temple Church of God in Christ, 304 Madison Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Rosie L. Bolden
Rosie L. Bolden, 74, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Cherokee, La. A resident for 74 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, Roy Bolden, Eddie Ray Bolden, Lennis Bolden, Rudy Bolden, and Nathel Bolden, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Linda Sue Bolden of Las Vegas; three brothers, Nathanel Bolden, George Bolden and C.L. Bolden, all of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Marie Bolden and Joana Kline, both of Las Vegas, and Anathea Bolden of Tallulah, La.; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 12:30 Monday at Palm Mortuary-Downtown. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Marilyn R. Calhoun
Marilyn R. Calhoun, 51, of Las Vegas died Oct. 17 in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Mexico, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a customer representative for a pharmaceutical company.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; three daughters, Kajuan DeVan and Latisha Sims, both of Denver, and Amber Sims of Las Vegas; Her mother, Lillian Brown, and grandmother, Dorothy McNeil, both of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Howard and Terry; and four sisters, Paulette, Tee Wanda, Denise and Lisa; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jesus is the Answer, 731 Fremont St. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Aletha 'Lee' Canarelli
Aletha 'Lee' Canarelli, 74, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 18, 1927, in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; one son, Larry D. Canarelli of Las Vegas; five daughters, Judith M. Graves of Chico, Calif., Carol Turner of El Centro, Calif, Aletha Langdon of Spanaway, Wash., Linda Canarelli of Clovis, Calif., and Roberta Black of Elk Grove, Calif.; and two sisters, Agness McGee of Roseburg, Ore., and Alice Barove of Boyle, Alberta; and 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Arrangements are handled by Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Glen C. Elder
Glen C. Elder, 73, of Overton died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 35 years, he was an operating engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Lewan; one daughter, Marcelline Fernandes of Yellow Springs, Ohio; three sons, Glen G. Elder, David C. Elder and James T. Elder, all of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Evelyn Erickson
Evelyn Erickson, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Hoquiam, Wash. A resident for seven years, she was an office worker in the petroleum industry.
She is survived by four sisters, Doris Erickson of Las Vegas, Signe Gadwa of Marysville, Wash., Myrtle Jacobson of Tacoma, Wash., and Elsie Green of Aberdeen, Wash.
Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Theodore Woodrow Grant II
Theodore Woodrow Grant II, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 4, 1947, in Michigan. A resident for 23 years, he was a slot foreman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Steve Nolan; two brothers, Leonard Grant of Waterford, Mich., and Cary Grant of White Lake, Mich.; and one sister, Vivian Emerick of Pontiac, Mich.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling the arrangements.
Lori Leigh Grooss
Lori Leigh Grooss, 23, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 5, 1979, in Bloomington, Ill. She was a saleswoman.
She is survived by her parents, Chuck and Nancy Grooss; two sisters, Tami Wright of Bloomington and Heather Grooss-Reed of Las Vegas; and one grandfather.
Services will be private. Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Donald E. Humphries
Donald E. Humphries, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born May 30, 1933, in Middletown, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired businessman, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a member of Masonic Temple-Jefferson Lodge 90 of Middletown.
He is survived by his wife, Clare L.; one son, Marc W. Humphries of Las Vegas; and three daughters, Nella S. Humphries and Clarissa Van Praag, both of Las Vegas, and Carole A. Humphries of Miami Shores, Fla.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Juanita Johnson-Dunn
Juanita Johnson-Dunn, 67, of Las Vegas died Oct. 17 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Peru, Ind. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by one daughter, Bettina Padelford of Solvang, Calif.; and one sister, Beverly Dabney of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today at Reformation Lutheran Church. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Raymond P. Kammeyer
Raymond P. Kammeyer, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Waterloo, Iowa. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired bakery driver, a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 8 and Teamsters Local 14.
He is survived by his wife, Faith; two sons, John Kammeyer and Dennis Kammeyer, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Arthur Kammeyer of Waterloo and Richard Kammeyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and one sister, Mable De Vries of Denver; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Florence M. Klessig
Florence M. Klessig, 90, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1912, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; and two sons, Richard Yahne of Henderson and Robert Yahne of Hanford, Calif.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 5 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Harry J. Mangrum, Jr.
Harry J. Mangrum, Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 17, 1935, in St. Louis. A resident for 59 years, he was a retired taxi driver, former attorney and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his sister, Carol White of Phoenix.
Services are private. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Patricia Juanita Garcia Pina
Patricia Juanita Garcia Pina, 61, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 8, 1941, in Mosquero, N.M. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired quality control operator for a candy company and a public ministry volunteer.
She is survived by her husband, Feliciano Becerra Pina; two daughters, Elizabeth Patricia West of Las Vegas and Azalia Anna Pina of Henderson; six sons, Daniel Garcia Pina of Henderson, Saul Pina of Ripon, Wis., and Thomas Garcia Pina, Feliciano Pina Jr., Joseph Edward Pina and Richard Steven Pina, all of Las Vegas; her parents, Jose Apodaca Garcia and Virginia Gurule Garcia, both of Espanola, N.M.; two sisters, Irene Trujillo of Las Vegas and Rebecca Floyd of Espanola; four brothers, David Garcia of Acalda, N.M., Ezekiel Garcia of Phoenix and Julian Garcia and Richared Garcia, both of Espanola; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 601 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Eva Rosenstein
Eva Rosenstein, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Greenwood Village, Colo. She was born March 23, 1925, in Romania. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Zwi Rosenstein of Denver; one daughter, Miriam Karabel of Las Vegas; and one sister, Millie Ben Chaim of Haifa, Israel; and six grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at noon today. King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.
L.C. 'Sandy' Sandgren
L.C. 'Sandy' Sandgren, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Oct. 24, 1923, in Minneapolis. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired instrumental engineer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Skip Sandgren of Las Vegas and Kevin Sandgren of Richland, Wash.; and two daughters, Susan Gardner and Gayle Bauer, both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Caroline A. Slonim
Caroline A. Slonim, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 9, 1929, in Pueblo, Colo. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Bella Rodriguez of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jr. Rodriguez and Bobby Rodriguez, both of Visalia, Calif.; and three sisters, Lupe Rasmussen of Las Vegas, Rosie Chism of Hanford, Calif., and Joanie Salmon of Tulare, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Carl G. Smith, 67, of Las Vegas died Oct. 17 in a local hospital. He was born June 20, 1935, in Okmulgee, Okla. A resident for 10 years he was a retired diesel mechanic and a member of the Second Baptist Church Usher Board and of the Senior Thunderbolts Bowling Club.
He is survived by his wife, Gwenzella; three daughters, Brenda Stewart of Inglewood, Calif., Shelia Sanders of Riverside, Calif., and Deborah Clark of Blue Springs, Mo.; two brothers, Luchus Smith of Gardena, Calif., and Marvin Smith Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; and four sisters, Alberta Crisp and Ruth Williams, both of Los Angeles, Joyce Geller of San Diego and Mayola Harrison of Tulsa; and eight grandchildren.

Frank C. Snyder Sr., 84, of Las Vegas died Oct. 15 in Edgewood, Ky. He was born March 4, 1918, in Erlanger, Ky. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired meat manager and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Rose McMillian; two sons, Frank C. Snyder Jr. of Lovelock and David E. Snyder of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Sunday at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.

Marilyn R. Vitro, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 8 1932, in New York. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired hotel front desk clerk.
She is survived by one son, Daniel Flinn of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; and one daughter, Patricia Knox of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Bernardine; four sons, Kurt Sievertson of Henderson, Kelly Porter and Kenny Porter, both of Phoenix, and Karl Porter of Porter, Ind.; one daughter, Stormy Watson of Billings, Mont., and his mother, Laverne Watson of Pinetop; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 12:40 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Cremation and Burial Services, 310 Foremaster Lane is handling arrangements.
