Meadows plans Evening of Giving
Meadows mall invites nonprofit organizations and charities to raise funds and awareness for their causes by selling tickets to its second annual An Evening of Giving from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
The mall will close to the public at 6 p.m and then open for a night of shopping and holiday festivities, just for ticket holders.
Nonprofit groups may sell tickets for $5. All of the proceeds raised from ticket sales will directly benefit the organizations selling them. Participating organizations include Go for the Gold Booster Club, Summerlin 49er Collegiate Cheerleaders, Cimarron-Memorial High School, Las Vegas Valley Humane Society and Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada.
Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit groups that are interested, may call 878-3331.
Religious fanaticism subject of forum
The National Conference for Community and Justice will host a forum, "How Religious Fanaticism Is Being Addressed Within Faith Groups," from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. Sunday at Jamia Masjid, 4730 E. Desert Inn Road.
Speakers will be Jim Stanford, Rabbi Gary Golbart, Adat Ami, Dr. Tommy Starkes, Dr. Anjun Jafar and U.S. District Judge Lloyd George.

Volunteers are needed Saturday
and Sunday for Red Rock Days, the annual weekend cleanup at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Saturday is the main work day, and Sunday will be primarily cleanup. Projects include graffiti removal, fence building and repair, removal of non-indigenous species, trail building and repair, trash pick-up and landscape repair and improvement. Arrive at the Red Rock Visitor Center at 8 a.m. For more information call 526-7772.

Court Elizabeth Ann Seton, will hold a craft and bake sale from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 1111, Michael Way. Call Victoria at 646-1323.
