Pct. 24, 2002
High school: Green Valley ('99)
Where she is now: Oregon State
Sport: Golf
Year in school: Senior
Currently: After transferring from Texas Christian in the middle of her career, Pendleton has found success in Corvallis, Ore. As a junior, Pendleton competed in every tournament for the Beavers and compiled a 77.7 stroke average to lead the team. This past week, Pendleton recorded one of her best finishes of the season, placing 33rd in the Stanford Pepsi Invitational. Her total score of 230 was her second-best finish of the year. That total included a 2-over round of 74 to open the tournament. Pendleton also received honorable mention Academic All-Pac 10 Conference honors before the start of her final season. Her career-best round of 70 last year at the Duck Invitational tied for the second-lowest score in OSU history.
Looking back: A member of the Green Valley powerhouse teams of the late 1990s, Pendleton was the 4A state champion in 1997 and took part in multiple state championships as part of the Gators' squad. She earned three All-State selections en route to helping Green Valley lay the foundation for the national dual match winning streak that her sister, Chelsea, helped break earlier this season.
