Idaire Axler
Idaire Axler, 90, of Las Vegas died Oct. 14 in Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1912, in New York. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Temple Beth Shalom sisterhood.
She is survived by three sisters, Sophie Stekloff, Dorie Rolick and Esther Rolick, all of Rochester, N.Y.
Arrangements were handled by King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
The family suggests donations to the Jewish National Fund 78 Randall Ave., Rockville Centre, N.Y. 11570.
Leone C. Beloud
Leone C. Beloud, 94, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. She was born Feb. 27, 1908, in Dorchester, Wis. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired school district nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Beloud of Henderson and David Beloud of Boulder City; and one sister, Sister Wilimina of Monroe, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9-9:30 a.m. Friday followed by services at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Arrangements are handled by Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Samuel Anthony Bocelli
Samuel Anthony Bocelli, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Somers Point, N.J. A resident for nine years, he was a dealer and casino host.
He is survived by one son, Costas Bocelli of Marlton, N.J.; one brother, Michael Bocelli of New Jersey; and one sister, Patricia Morton of Florida.
Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Suite 140, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Thomas A. Cannon
Thomas A. Cannon, 75, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 25, 1927, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A resident for 39 years, he was a motel owner, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Black Mountain Golf and Country Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Pamela Bolin of Rohnert Park, Calif.; one sister, Wanda Gayle Sunderland of Big Canoe, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Thursday followed by services at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be at Palm Memorial Park-Henderson.

Evelyn E. Danielson
Evelyn E. Danielson, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Holdingford, Minn. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Senior Citizens and Catholic Charities.
She is survived by five sons, Richard Danielson, Wayne Danielson and James Danielson, all of Las Vegas, Ronald Danielson of Elma, Wash., and Brian Danielson of Sandy Valley; one daughter, Patricia Stone of Cottonwood, Ariz.; one brother, Anthony Langner of Minnesota; three sisters, Irene Marcheski of Dayton, Ohio, Mary Jo Langner of Las Vegas and Lillian Czech of Little Falls, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private. Arrangements were handled by Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
Angela M. Danolfo
Angela M. Danolfo of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born in Cleveland. A resident for 55 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Drago-Hayes of Las Vegas; and her sister, Clara Tyler of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Thursday followed by services at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be at 3:30 Thursday at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Anthony J. Gianni
Anthony J. Gianni, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Lawrence, Mass. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired government supervisor, a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 8.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; one son, Russell Gianni of Yorba Linda, Calif.; four daughters, Bunny Mojica of Torrance, Calif., Donna Long of Northridge, Calif., Terri Gianni of Woodland Hills, Calif. and Carol Naus of Chandler, Ariz.; and one sister, Mary Sirois of Lawrence; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Arrangements are handled by Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Helen Gianopulos
Helen Gianopulos, 100, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1902, in Crete. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Ladies of Philoptochos and the Creatan Club.
She is survived by one son, Jim Shetakis, and one daughter, Goldie Moran, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Burial will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Matthew R. Hazen
Matthew R. Hazen, 30, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 29, 1972, in Orange, Calif. A resident for four years, he was a bar back.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, James and Marilee Hazen of Woodland, Calif., his mother, Donna Hazen of Las Vegas; two grandmothers, Rosalee Hazen of La Verne, Calif. and Verna Velasquez of Las Vegas; one brother, Jeremy Hazen of Covina Hills, Calif.; and four sisters, Jessica Hazen, Kelsey Hazen, Alexandra Hazen and MacKenzie Hazen, all of Woodland.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Covina Hills. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Covina Hills Chapel with burial at Forest Lawn Covina Hills Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
William A. Henry
William A. Henry, 72, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1930, in Texas. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Mary; one son, Daniel Henry; one daughter, Willine Andrea Ramirez; and two sisters, La Verne Wright and Melba Stiefel; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.

William A. Knittel
William A. Knittel, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1916, in Hosmer, S.D. A resident for two years, he was a retired mail carrier and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Martha V.; two daughters, Sandra L. Block of Las Vegas and Billie Rae Knittel of Mayer, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services and burial will be 3 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary-Jones.

Steven Leslie Kreinbring
Steven Leslie Kreinbring, 55, of Las Vegas died Oct. 17 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1946, in Minneapolis. A resident for over 40 years, he was a construction painter and a member of the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades Local 159 in Las Vegas and 77 in Salt Lake City.
He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Kreinbring of Las Vegas; one brother, Mark Kreinbring of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Sharon Rossiter of White City, Kan., Nancy Davidson of Las Vegas and Vickie Brown of North Las Vegas.
Services are private. Arrangements are handled by Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St.
Simone Marie Martin
Simone Marie Martin, 83, of North Las Vegas died Sept. 25 in a local care center. She was born May 24, 1919, in Grenoble, France. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired hotel maid.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St.
Joe Monte
Joe Monte, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1921, in New York. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired automotive industry assemblyman.
He is survived by his wife, Sally; two daughters, Janet Lau and Patti Barker, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Phillip Domanico of Arizona; and one sister, Ida Mogravo of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Darlean Norsworthy, 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 10, 1959, in Monroe, La. A resident for 37 years, she was a clerk at a center for the blind.
She is survived by her mother, Rosie Warren of Las Vegas; one brother, Ruben Warren of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Rosonea Warren and Stefanie Warren, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday at American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Bruce A. Olson
Bruce A. Olson, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Hillman, Minn. A resident for 35 years, he was a construction worker, tree service company owner, former Golden Gloves boxer and a Korean War Marine veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Fern Brownlee of Neponset, Ill.; one brother, Neil R. Olson of Dunlap, Ill.; and two sisters, Shirley A. Roberson of Neponset and Janice K. Wood of Mendota, Ill.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Ill. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Illinois.

Michael B. Ryan, 49, of Las Vegas died Oct. 15 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Flint, Mich. A resident for six years, he was a hotel security guard and a Vietnam War Marine veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Raynette Feliciano; his mother, Betty Ryan of Hemet, Calif.; three daughters, Jennifer Carlson of Abilene, Texas, Tanya Jason and Marcia Ryan, both of Sweetwater, Texas; and six brothers, David Ryan of California and Ronald Ryan, Greg Ryan, Donald Ryan, Timothy Ryan and Jeffrey Ryan, all of Michigan; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Carlos R. Sanchez, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 10, 1910, in Santiago, Cuba. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired Cuban military first sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Emilia I.; one son, Jose C. Sanchez of Las Vegas; two daughters, Natalia Sanchez of Las Vegas and Iris Sanchez Frometa of Santiago; and one sister, Hilda Sanchez of Miami; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary-Eastern.

Lillian Myer Sanders, 88, of Las Vegas died Oct. 13 in a local care center. She was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Greenville, Miss. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired telephone advertising agent.
She is survived by one son, Herbert Sanders of Fresno, Calif.; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Robinson of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, followed by services at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

He is survived by one sister, Vera S. Miller of Las Vegas.

David L. Smith, 35, of Las Vegas died Oct. 11 in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1967, in Beckville, Texas. A resident for 31 years, he was a packer for a trucking company.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Banks; three sons, David Marshall, David Smith and Davon Smith, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Doniesha Smith and Justice Smith, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Gerald Smith of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Brenda Smith and Michelle Smith, both of Las Vegas.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Worsley of Seal Beach, Calif., and Lisa Freeman of Las Vegas.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Temple Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson Ave. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
