Residents can meet with Mack
Residents in northwest Las Vegas can meet with their councilman from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Northwest Senior Center, 6841 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Concert to benefit Shade Tree shelter
The Lift Ticket Benefit Concert Series concludes with the final concert of the year at 7 p.m. Friday at the Summerlin Smoothie King, 8502 W. Lake Mead Blvd., to support The Shade Tree shelter and promote the local music scene.
Admission is $5 and is open for all ages.
The Shade Tree is Clark County's primary 24-hour emergency shelter designed specifically for women and women with children who find themselves in a crisis situation.

Guitar program to begin Monday
The Clark County Parks and Community Services Department and the International House of Blues Foundation will host Make a Difference guitar program, beginning Monday.
The free-guitar program provides students with a Washburn guitar if needed, to complete the program.

The American Diabetes Association
