Madame Tussaud has new exhibit

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas will open a new exhibit Monday that features multimedia, interactive displays of presidents from George Washington to George W. Bush and celebrities from Princess Diana to John Wayne.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, whose likeness will be included in the new exhibit, will be on hand for grand opening festivities at 5:30 p.m. at Madame Tussaud's, at The Venetian. A reception will follow.

Admission is $14.95 for adults, $12 for Nevada residents and senior citizens, and $9.75 for children 4-12. Call 862-7800 for more information.

Jewish Genealogy Society offers tips

The Jewish Genealogy Society of Southern Nevada will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

Michael Brenner, past president of the organization, will detail how to to find information when the standard form of research has reached a dead end.

Safe Nest plans annual luncheon

Safe Nest will present its 19th annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month Luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Rio.
