International consumer electronics giant Sony Corp. will not exhibit at this year's Comdex show Nov. 16-22 in Las Vegas.
Sony has instead chosen to market at two other shows, its own Dream World 2002 in Yokohama City, Japan, and the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, CNET News.com reported.
Gateway, IBM, Dell Computer and Intel were among the major companies that pulled out of Comdex last year when attendance fell below 150,000 following the terrorist attacks and downturns in the computer industry.
