Henderson firm accused of deceptive practices

The Nevada Attorney General's office sued in Clark County District Court to stop two Henderson men, doing business as Cash Flow Strategies Inc., from operating as an unregistered credit service organization.

Rudolph Burnett and Bradley Jones, who allegedly sold a credit management program that helps consumers remove or correct collections, late pays, bankruptcies, foreclosures and repossessions that may be reflected in their credit report, were accused of violating the Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

The defendants were accused of reneging on alleged promises to make full refunds if they failed to achieve at least a 50 percent success rate on removing all derogatory items listed in consumers' reports within one year of the program, which costs between $2,850 and $3,850.

The defendants could not be reached for comment on the state's allegations.
