Incumbent Democrat Chris Giunchigliani needs just one vote to win her seventh term representing the central and downtown Las Vegas district because she has no opposition.
Giunchigliani, 47, is a teacher who is focusing on affordable and available health care, senior issues and prescription drugs.
There are nearly 14,000 registered voters in the district. Among them are more than 7,300 Democrats and more than 4,200 Republicans
