Cora D. Andrade

Cora D. Andrade, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 18, 1940, in Oklahoma. A resident for 28 years, she was a secretary for the government.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond M. Andrade and Edward A. Andrade, and one daughter, Della A. Drowns, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Juniper Haven Cemetery, Prineville, Ore.

Billie G. Baity

Billie G. Baity, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1941, in Amarillo, Texas. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired retail saleswoman.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Louise Gutierrez, Leslie Baity-Jean and Dianna Bertolo, and one son, Frederick L. Baity Jr., all of Las Vegas; one sister, Demeris Chaney of Paducah, Texas; one brother, Johnny Poe of Childress, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ernestina Balle

Ernestina Balle, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born July 2, 1915, in San Juan, Argentina. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Sebastian; one son, Dr. Sebastian Balle of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Leonard J. Bilgard

Leonard J. Bilgard, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 11, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, he was a machinist for AT&T, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Eagles.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Bilgard of Las Vegas; one sister, Loranne Peterson of Chicago; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Gilbert Lee Booth

Gilbert Lee Booth, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 16, 1930, in Michigan. A resident for 37 years, he was retired civil service employee and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Gilbert Booth Jr.; three daughters, Tamra Henry, Laura Edwards and Carol Willing; two brothers, Stewart Booth and Ross Parks; one sister, Kathy; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8-10 a.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Frank Burnier

Frank Burnier, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 26, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired pastry chef.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one son Richard Burnier of Chicago; one sister, Araceli Fuhrer of Berne, Switzerland; and two grandchildren.

Marie J. Cundella

Marie J. Cundella, 88, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for two years, she was a retired baker.

She is survived by two daughters, Joann White of North Las Vegas and Theresa Dingman of Barstow, Calif.; two sons, Alexander Lanzante of Heborn, Neb., and Frank Lanzante Jr. of Milford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

John Dinbokowitz

John Dinbokowitz, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Allentown, Pa. A resident for 28 years, he was a hotel bartender, a World War II Navy veteran, a former employee of Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, Pa., and was the previous owner of Alton Park Lounge.

He is survived by his wife, Meyo; one brother, William Dinbokowitz of Whitehall, Pa.; two sisters, Helen Chomiak of Allentown and Rose Prinz of Whitehall.

Patricia L. Erickson

Patricia L. Erickson, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Seattle. A resident for seven years, she was a retired analyst for the Interior Department.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; two sons, Riley Atkins and Kiefer Atkins; one brother, Roy Potter Jr.; and one grandchild.

Norma Gabrielli

Norma Gabrielli, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born July 29, 1931, in Italy. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rizieri; one son, Giuseppe Gabrielli of Neperville, Ill.; and four sisters, Laura Gasperetti and Giuliana Palmerini, both of Italy, and Vittoria Moriconi and Bruna Samarelli, both of France.

Michael Hasler

Michael Hasler, 31, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 8, 1971, in Las Vegas. A resident for 31 years, he was an air conditioning repairman.

He is survived by his wife, Bobby Lynn; one daughter, Erica Hasler, one son, Derek Hasler, one stepdaughter, Annastasia Flannery, and his mother and stepfather, Susan and Joe Lawrence, all of Las Vegas; his father, Damon Hasler of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one sister, Carrie Hasler of Las Vegas; two brothers, Brian Hasler of Tacoma, Wash., and David Lawrence of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Georgine Hasler of Las Vegas and Lee Kjelland of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Babette J. Jacobs

Babette J. Jacobs, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 5, 1938, in Council Grove, Kan. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired casino supervisor.

She is survived by one daughter, Julie Unruh, and three sons Todd Unruh, Terry Unruh and Paul Unruh, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Jane O'Malley, and one brother, Mike O'Malley, both of Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

James Theron Kendrick

James Theron Kendrick, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1914, in Magnolia, Ark. A resident for six months, he was an assistant fire chief.

He is survived by one daughter, Betty L. Byrd of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Magnolia. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Clarence Kolanowski

Clarence Kolanowski, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Indiana. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired maintenance engineer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Gail Kibiger and Marsha Kibiger; two sisters, Rosette Emery and Peggy Vrydaghs; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Sarah Lerner

Sarah Lerner, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 6, 1920, in Detroit. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired retail clothing saleswoman.

She is survived by one son, Martin Lerner of Brighton, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Sandra Jean Linschoten

Sandra Jean Linschoten, 66, of Kingman, Ariz., died Friday in La Jolla, Calif. She was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Oregon. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; one daughter, Susan Linschoten of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Michael Linschoten of Nevada and Scott Linschoten of Kingman, Ariz.; her mother, Jean Walsh of Henderson; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

James T. McCann III

James T. McCann III, 56, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 17, 1946, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for 27 years, he was a registered nurse, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Nurses Service Organization and Police Auxiliary Civilian Team and a former leader of the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by one son, James T. McCann IV of Henderson; his father and stepmother, James T. McCann II and Cecilia McCann, both of Peoria, Ill.; and two brothers, Richard M. McCann of Warrenton, Mo., and Dennis W. McCann of Peoria.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 9 a.m. service Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Juanita Pearl Russell

Juanita Pearl Russell, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 59 years, she was a bookkeeper, a member of the Model-A Ford Oldtimers Antique Car Club, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Whirl-Away square dance club.

She is survived by three daughters, Delores Meek and Barbara Bawden, both of Las Vegas, and Saundra Taylor of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers, Amos Allen Elliott of Las Vegas and John Elliott of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A cryptside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Elizabeth Samblan

Elizabeth Samblan, 92, of Henderson died Monday in a local health service center. She was born Jan. 31, 1910, in Poland. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired factory worker.

She is survived by three sons, Edward Mykisen, Jerome "Mike" Mykisen and Lawrence Mykisen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3:30-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. prayer service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements. Burial will be in Illinois.

Philip T. Satallante

Philip T. Satallante, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 10, 1926, in Southampton, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired firefighter in San Bernardino, Calif., and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine; two sons, Philip V. Satallante and Jody Satallante, both of Las Vegas; four daughters, Colony Abbott of San Marino, Calif., Cynthia Gee of Hesperia, Calif., and Phyllis Satallante-Brown and Deana Campbell, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Vincent Satallante of Las Vegas, Joseph Satallante of San Diego and Peter Satallante of Melbourne, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. A celebration of life reception will follow at the Red Rock Country Club, 2250-A Red Springs Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Antonio Sierra Sr.

Antonio Sierra Sr., 54, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 13, 1947, in Mexico. A resident for 10 years, he was a general upholsterer.

He is survived by one son, Antonio Sierra Jr. of Henderson; four daughters, Patty Gonzalez of Las Vegas and Juana Gomez, Martha Sierra and Blanca Llamas, all of Henderson; and four grandchildren.

Michael D. Syphus

Michael D. Syphus, 44, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 7, 1958, in Las Vegas and was disabled.

He is survived by his mother, Shirlee G. (Jacobson) Syphus of North Las Vegas; one brother, Lee Syphus of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Jan Syphus and Laura Syphus, both of Las Vegas, and Lynne Thurgood and Bonnie Wible, both of Oregon.

Clarice Thornton

Clarice Thornton, 73, of Las Vegas died Oct. 8. A homemaker, she was born April 21, 1929, in Garners Township, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother; and one grandson.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Thornton Jr. and Gary Thornton, both of Las Vegas, and Robert Thornton of Waseca, Minn.; one sister, Evelyn Lidenberg, and one brother, Thomas Doyea, both of Dilworth, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Wilner Walton

Wilner Walton, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Paden, Okla. A resident for three months, he was a retired automotive body man and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Zella; one son, Robert Walton of Oregon; four daughters, Linda Walton and Diane Walton, both of McCloud, Calif., Sherrelle Walton of Los Banos, Calif., and Dawn Walton of California; two sisters, Billie Crain of Sacramento and Mariam; one stepson, Calvin of Santa Rosa, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Kelly, Sheila and Lana, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Larry A. Woolf

Larry A. Woolf, 41, of Henderson died Sept. 30 in Henderson. He was born Nov. 17, 1960. A resident for 11 years, he was a customer service representative in the pharmaceutical industry.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Horning-Woolf of Henderson; his father, James Woolf of Fullerton, Calif.; his mother, Phyllis Woolf, and one brother, Art Woolf, both of Wichita, Texas.

Charles Young

Charles Young, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1926. A resident for 19 years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by one son, Lyn Young of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cindy McKinney of Westminster, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
