Raley's, which wants to sell its local grocery stores to Kroger Co., is seeking a replacement tenant for a store under construction at Tropicana Avenue and Fort Apache Road that wasn't part of the sale, according to In Business Las Vegas, a sister newspaper to the Las Vegas Sun, in its Oct. 11 edition.
The store, touted as the first true local Raley's, is a 66,500-square-foot store with two restaurants and meeting rooms for community use. Construction of the store, in a shopping center called Raley's Crossroads, began in May and is scheduled to be completed in December.
