Red Rock Canyon plans ‘Freaky Friday’

"Freaky Friday," a moderate, two-mile hike in the evening, is a featured event this weekend in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Rangers and volunteers plan a variety of activities each week. Other upcoming events:
Red Rock Day Camp: A program Friday for homeschoolers to explore Lost Creek and complete a discovery workbook.
Birding with a Ranger: An excursion into the world of bird watching with Ranger Jim on Friday.
The Importance of Water: A three-mile moderate hike Saturday to explore and observe the desert environment with and without the magic of water.
