Donald Francis Bennett

Donald Francis Bennett, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 11, 1928, in New Jersey. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired salesman and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Stella; two sons, Robert R. and Joey Stelker; one daughter, Tracy; one brother, Hugh; one sister, Rita; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private family services.

Catherine Campbell

Catherine Campbell, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 2002, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, David Campbell of Duarte and Leon Campbell and George Campbell, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Dorothy Harris of Virginia Beach, Va., and Barbara Schneider of Henderson; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Shirlee Caristo

Shirlee Caristo, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired real estate executive.

She is survived by her husband, Domenic; three sons, Bud Franklin, John Kaye and Tracy Kaye, and one daughter, Candy Mills, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Vivian Brown of Chicago; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ramona Cary

Ramona Cary, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Santa Ana, Calif. She was born Dec. 23, 1935, in Oregon. A resident for three years, she was a retired bookkeeper at a cafe.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; one son, Steven Cary of Las Vegas; one daughter, Deanna Cary of California; two brothers, Vern Foree and Ernest Foree, both of Henderson; one sister, Donna Kaiser of Roseburg, Ore.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

James L. Champlin

James L. Champlin, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 1, 1941, in Wyoming. A resident for 20 years, he was a security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Sandra Wright.

Marcella V. Cooper

Marcella V. Cooper, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local convalescent center. She was born June 5, 1916, in Emporium, Pa. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired accountant/secretary for a government office and a member of the Las Vegas Emblem Club.

She is survived by one sister, Ruth Lawson of Corry, Pa.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Mae Durso

Mae Durso, 84, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born July 25, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a retired retail sales clerk.

She is survived by one daughter, Maryann Kalakay of North Las Vegas; one sister, Josephine Allegro and William Messina, both of Simi Valley, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Caleida D. 'Clyde' Glover

Caleida D. "Clyde" Glover, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 19, 1952, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a hotel reservationist.

She is survived by one sister, Rovena Prather, and her companion, Barbara Vizcaino, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Dolores J. Gurlides, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born July 6, 1928, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired retail saleswoman.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen P. Gurlides and Craig P. Gurlides, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Anna May O'Neill and Marilyn Cafasso, both of New York; one brother, Donald Nicosia of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Annie Virginia Hellmund

Annie Virginia Hellmund, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 10, 1914, in Pennsylvania. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Ray Seguine of Las Vegas; one daughter, Gloria Patterson of Playa Del Rey, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Church of Las Vegas, 3388 S. Decatur Blvd. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Jean Keyser

Dorothy Jean Keyser, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 25, 1913, in Belle Plaine, Kan. A resident for 56 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Las Vegas Emblem Club and Las Vegas Country Club.

She is survived by one sister, Charlene King of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 5 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St.

Lewis LeRoy Loveland Sr., 69, of Las Vegas died Oct. 3.

He is survived by his wife, Monica; one daughter, Laura Eichelman; one son, Lewis Loveland Jr.; his mother, Laura Sabaloni; one sister, Dolores Loveland; and two grandchildren.

Esta Marie Miller

Esta Marie Miller, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 6, 1918, in Dallas. A resident for 44 years, she was a Frontier hotel cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Royce; one sister, Marilyn Swain of Hemet, Calif.

Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Douglas Thomas Nelson

Douglas Thomas Nelson, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Magrath, Alberta. A resident for 36 years, he was a contractor, a teacher at the Aea Technical Trade Center and active in the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two sons, Bruce Nelson and Terry Nelson, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Calen Nelson of Las Vegas and Tammy Hays of Monroe, Wash.; one brother, Preston Nelson of Lindon, Utah; one sister, Rae Atwood of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 10:30 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Sandstone Stake Center. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Glenn C. Norris

Glenn C. Norris, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 23, 1949, in St. Louis. A resident for 24 years, he was a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Andrea Norris of Las Vegas; two sisters, Carolyn Norris and Iris Norris, and his grandmother, Clara Hardy, all of St. Louis.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Mack Charles Palmer, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Wisconsin. A resident for four years, he was a sales manager.

He is survived by one son, Jim Palmer of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in California.

John W. Perme

John W. Perme, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Leadville, Colo. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired civil engineer, an Army veteran, a charter member and former house president of the Zeta Beta branch of Alpha Tau Omega, recognized as "Life Loyal Tau," and has made many gifts to USC especially in support of athletics.

He is survived by one daughter, Catherine P. Cook; two stepchildren; three sisters, Josephine Foster and Pauline Phillips, both of Las Vegas, and Rose Schultz of California; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Mary Kathleen Plutowski

Mary Kathleen Plutowski, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 4, 1937, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was an office manager.

She is survived by her husband, Horst; three sons, Walter Plutowski and Frederick Plutowski, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sylvia Meckel of New York.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will be private.

Florence Deanna Pueblos

Florence Deanna Pueblos, 62, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Ookala, Hawaii. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; four sons, Richard Pueblos of Orange, Calif., Roger Pueblos of Japan, Ronald Pueblos of Las Vegas and Rory Pueblos of North Las Vegas; two daughters, Richelle Pueblos of Japan and Ronette Pueblos of Lakewood, Calif.; four brothers, Clarence Polligratis, Jerry Ramos, Sonny Ramos and Arnold Ramos, two sisters, Norma Lagodon and Nancy Okanishi, all of Hawaii; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

George Ravetto

George Ravetto, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born in New Mexico. A resident for 14 years, he was a computer technician for Honeywell Corp., a veteran of the Reserves and a member of the Toastmasters.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; four sons, Frank, Joe, George Ravetto and Matt Keller; one daughter, Molly Ravetto; one brother, Leno Ravetto; two sisters, Theresa Spivey and Evelena Ravetto; and five grandchildren.

A rosary will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, followed by visitation at 11 and services at noon. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Madelon L. Reidell

Madelon L. Reidell, 85, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Sunnyvale, Calif. A resident for three years, she was a retired Postal Service clerk.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Reidell of Hollister, Calif.; one daughter, Georgia Taylor of North Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Dale C. Robb

Dale C. Robb, 62, of Las Vegas died Oct. 2 in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Las Vegas. A resident for 62 years, he was a retired convention supervisor.

He is survived by one son, Rick Robb, one daughter, Tammy Cross, and three sisters, Theone Goodwin, Clara Stevens and Betty Davis, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

William T. Saucier

William T. Saucier, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Maine. A resident for 25 years, he was a computer scientist for a utility company and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie; one son, Bill; one daughter, Jeanette; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pedro Guerro Villarreal

Pedro Guerro Villarreal, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Mexico. A resident for 20 years, he was a Caesars Palace steward and a member of Culinary Local 226.

He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Villarreal of Manchester, Tenn.; one son, Peter Mehrley of Salt Lake City; and three sisters, all of Mexico.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
