Wanda May Beauchamp

Wanda May Beauchamp, 76, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Tacoma, Wash. A Henderson resident for 34 years and a former longtime resident of Boulder City, she retired as a clerical assistant from the federal government.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Beauchamp of Las Vegas; three sons, Mark Beauchamp of Henderson, Rickey Beauchamp of Cottage Grove, Ore., and Miles Beauchamp of Pahrump; one brother, Walter Sanders of Terre Haute, Ind.; seven granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Democratic Party.

Rita Mae Berner

Rita Mae Berner, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 28, 1929, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, she was a cashier at the Luxor.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Walsh of Chicago and Lisa Berner of Lake Beach, Ill.; one son, Steven Berner of Mount Prospect, Ill.; one brother, Hy Rossman of Glenview, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Patrick Broderick

Patrick Broderick, 16, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1986, in Fort Meyers, Fla. A resident for 11 years, he was a student.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Elena and Russell Milano of Las Vegas; three sisters, Trisha Broderick of Grants Pass, Ore., and Kelly Broderick and Cristina Broderick, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Jr. Milano of Fort Stewart, Ga., and Joseph Milano, Charles Broderick and Matthew Broderick, all of Las Vegas; and his father, James Broderick of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Friday in Redrock Baptist Church, 5500 Alta Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mabel Mae Finchum

Mabel Mae Finchum, 98, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 22, 1904, in Flora, Ky. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Davidson, and one daughter-in-law, Sylvia Powers, both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Josephine Fraser

Josephine Fraser, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 29, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was retired home health aide.

She is survived by her husband, William A.; and one sister, Cecelia Schwer of Blue Island, Ill.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mildred Emily Gade

Mildred Emily Gade, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1910, in Lawrence, Kan. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie O'Connor of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be private. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Gabriel D. Haguisan

Gabriel D. Haguisan, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1927, in the Philippines. A resident for two years, he was an attorney.

He is survived by his wife, Marietta; two sisters, Noemi Hagusan of Glendale, Calif., and Maria Elena of Guam; and one brother, Roger Haguisan of the Philippines.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4519 Simmons St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Barry T. Himan

Barry T. Himan, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1951, in Honolulu. A resident for six months, he was a door and window craftsman and a member of E Clampus Vitus.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one daughter, Melinda Janean Khosh of Las Vegas; his mother, Constance Himan of San Jose, Calif.; his father, Henry Himan of Eldorado Hills, Calif.; and two brothers, Brian T. Himan of Fort Bragg, Calif., and Rodney Himan of Indianapolis.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Curtis Paul Lanham

Curtis Paul Lanham, 44, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 26, 1958, in California.

He is survived by one son, Miles Lanham, and one daughter, Melonie Lanham, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Louise Lanham of Nevada; and two brothers, Charles J. Lanham of Wisconsin and Isaac N. Lanham of Pennsylvania.

A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in the LDS chapel at Hollywood Boulvard and Stewart Avenue. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Harold Albert Perkins

Harold Albert Perkins, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 14, 1926, in South Dakota. A resident for 20 years, he was a FAA employee and an Army veteran.

He is survived by four sisters, Lillian Stockel and Evelyn Tiesen, both of Tucson, and Tressie Cittig and Betty Anderson, both of Sioux Falls, S.D.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in South Dakota. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Nanya 'Tomi' Tomiyasu

Nanya "Tomi" Tomiyasu, 84, of Las Vegas died Sept. 30 in Las Vegas. He was born May 28, 1918, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a self-employed landscaper, treasurer of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, active in Desert Demonstration Gardens, a former leader of the Boy Scouts of America and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Setsuko; two sons, Bill Tomiyasu and Bob Tomiyasu, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Susan Tomiyasu-Hinton of Henderson and Ann Pratt of Las Vegas; one brother, Kiyo Tomiyasu of Paoli, Pa.; one sister, Uwamie Tomiyasu of Los Angeles; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Episcopal Church, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
