Breeders' Cup here we come!
The Sport of King's championship day of racing is less than three weeks away and the final wave of prep races for the World Thoroughbred Championship came like a Tsunami over the weekend from coast to coast and over the pond, too.
The results of the so-called prep races make handicapping this year's showdown at Arlington Park Oct. 26 one of the most challenging of all Breeders' Cup programs.
There were 21 stakes races conducted from California to New York. The preps left more beaten favorites than punctuating performances.
So, by the Breeders' Cup races they may enter, here are the winners of the most comprehensive week of championship prep races for America's championship day:
