Robert E. Barber
Robert E. Barber, 86, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born March 14, 1916, in Indiana. A resident for 58 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator at Nellis Air Force Base, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Acacia Masonic Lodge 49, Daylite Lodge 44, Scottish and York Rites, Shrine Temple, North Star 33, Orders of the Eastern Star and Daylite Order of the Eastern Star 30, the Elks and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; one son, Robert E. Barber Jr. of Mariposa, Calif.; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday and services 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Kevin Benham
Kevin Benham, 47, of Pahrump died Monday in Pahrump. He was born April 15, 1955, in Cadillac, Mich. A resident for two months, he was retired and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Joshua Benham of Pahrump; two daughters, Krystal Gail Benham of Texas and Angel Marie Herrandes of Michigan; and one grandchild.
Services and burial will be in Michigan. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, is handling arrangements.
William L. Bremser Jr.
William L. Bremser Jr., 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1953, in Texas. A resident for 16 years, he was a superintendent in the construction industry and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by several friends.
Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
George H. Gibson
George H. Gibson, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Burley, Idaho. A resident for three years, he retired as vice president and chairman of the board of Kraft Foods Co. and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cletus C.; one daughter, Linda Stockton of Las Vegas; two sons, Charles Gibson of Napa, Calif., and Steven Gibson of Lakewood, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119, or Make A Wish Foundation, 3111 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Frederick Horne
Frederick Horne, 30, of Las Vegas died Sept. 26 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1971, in Jamaica, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, he was a driver for a security firm.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; three sons, Trevant Sheriff Horne, Frederick Gary Horne and Tyrese Jermaine Horne, and one daughter, Miracle LaRose Horne, all of Las Vegas; his father, Isaac Basely of New York; his mother, Rose Lee Nickelson of Mississippi; and three brothers, Christopher Horne and Rickie Eugene Horne, both of Las Vegas, and Kelvin Anthony Horne of California.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Melissa Ann Jones
Melissa Ann Jones, 40, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1962, in Newport Beach, Calif. A resident for 25 years, she was a pool cleaner.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Perry of Henderson and Crystal Jones of Boulder City; her father and stepmother, Charles and Lorena Potts of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.; her mother, Doris Mitchell of Hesperia, Calif.; three sisters, Corine Robinson of Hesperia, Samatha Khabir of Las Vegas and Sarah Potts of Lake Arrowhead; one brother, James Potts of Boulder City; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Arnold Kinsler
Arnold Kinsler, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 26, 1913, in London. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; one daughter, Ellen Kinsler, and one son, Larry Kinsler, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Albert Kinsler of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
William Chu War Lee
William Chu War Lee, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1915, in Hawaii. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired journalist for a Hawaiian paper.
He is survived by his wife, Blossom; one son, Bryon; one daughter, Brianna; one brother, Robert; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private family services.
Betty Veronica McAuliffe
Betty Veronica McAuliffe, 89, of Las Vegas died Monday. A charter member of Marines Memorial Club of San Francisco and Women in Military Service for America, she was born Jan. 11, 1913.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Conant.
Military services will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Elizabeth K. Mead
Elizabeth K. Mead, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1912, in Chacon, N.M. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired waitress at Louise's Pantry in Palm Springs, Calif., for 30 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Rivers and Viola Caulfield, both of Las Vegas, and Doris Rodriguez of Panaca; two sons, Joe M. Sandoval Jr. of Riverside, Calif., and Robert Sands of Medford, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Edward Luke Mouton
Edward Luke Mouton, 76, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 29, 1926, in Lafayette, La. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Postal Service employee and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Piedad Mouton of Henderson.

Ronald S. Oseas
Ronald S. Oseas, 55, of Henderson died Tuesday in Salt Lake City. He was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, he was a physician and co-founder of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Catherine Oseas of Henderson; three sons, Matthew Oseas of Sacramento and David Oseas and Aaron Oseas, both of Henderson; his mother, Natalie Oseas, and one sister, Arleene Van Elgort, both of Woodland Hills, Calif.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Richard D. Radil
Richard D. Radil, 51, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1950, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Richard Bergman of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Graves of Chicago; two sisters, Judy Boyko of Louisville, Texas, and Karen Law of Las Vegas; his companion, Patricia Bergman of Chicago; and five grandchildren.

Joleen M. Stahl
Joleen M. Stahl, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 8, 1927, in Oklahoma City. A resident for nine years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Wendell L.; one daughter, Judy Lynne Fenison of Las Vegas; two sons, Gregory Eugene Anderson of Las Vegas and Robert Arden Anderson of San Diego; two brothers, Jim Igou of Salem, Ore., and Steve Igou of Phoenix; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Nanyu 'Tomi' Tomiyasu
Nanyu "Tomi" Tomiyasu, 84, of Las Vegas, died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 28, 1918, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident, he was a self-employed landscaper, a World War II Army veteran, treasurer of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, a former Boy Scout leader and was active with the Desert Demonstration Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Setsuko; two sons, Bill Tomiyasu and Bob Tomiyasu, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Susan Tomiyasu-Hinton of Henderson and Ann Pratt of Las Vegas; one brother, Kiyo Tomiyasu of Paoli, Pa; one sister, Uwamie Tomiyasu of Los Angeles; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Christ Episcopal Church. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
