Faith Lutheran will hold fund-raiser
Faith Lutheran Junior and Senior High School will hold its second annual scholarship fund-raising dinner Saturday at the JW Marriott.
Television commentator and talk show host Sean Hannity will be the guest speaker.

Study the stars at Lake Mohave
The National Park Service and the Colorado Mohave Astronomical Society will present a free viewing of the sun and stars through seven specialized telescopes at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Katherine Ranger Station.
Visitors will make a short drive to North Telephone Cove on the shores of Lake Mohave. Bring binoculars if you would like to supplement your viewing experience.

Memphis Championship Barbecue
will host its fourth annual Rebelutiontailgate party from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium to help raise funds for the $10,000 Rebelution Scholarship Fund, a scholarship program for University of Nevada, Las Vegas students. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling Dan "Dino" Giraldo at 388-4191.
