UNLV sophomore golfer Ryan Moore carded rounds of 80 and 68 and sits tied for 10th place, six strokes over par at the two-day Western Refining All-America Golf Classic at El Paso (Texas) Country Club on Monday.
The only player to break par on the par-71 course was TCU's Adam Rubinson (71-68--139), who holds a three-stroke lead at three-under.
The All-America Classic is an NCAA-exempt event extended to underclassmen named to last year's All-America team by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Moore earned such status as a freshman after finishing in the top 10 at the NCAA Championship.
