Three LV hospital execs named

Universal Health Service's Valley Health System, which operates Summerlin, Desert Springs and Valley hospitals in Las Vegas, named two new senior officers at hospitals Monday.
Karla Perez, former chief executive of Desert Springs hospital, was appointed chief executive of the 176-bed Spring Valley hospital under construction at Rainbow Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue. The hospital is scheduled to open in the fall of 2003.
Carl Fitch Sr., former president and chief executive of HCA Healthcare Services of Kansas in Wichita, Kan., succeeds Perez as chief executive of Desert Springs hospital.
Separately, HCA, which owns Sunrise and MountainView hospitals in Las Vegas, appointed Tad Morley, former chief executive officer of Brigham City Community Hospital in Brigham City, Utah, as chief operating officer at MountainView hospital.
