Merry Christmas show on Sunday
The 17th annual Merry Christmas Las Vegas event will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Broadway showroom at the Stratosphere.
The performance will be taped for local and national television.
This year's line-up includes Charo, Tony Orlando, musical comedy/variety family act The Scintas, Clint Holmes, impression duo Frank & Dean, Anthony Zuiker, creator of the network show "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," singer Marlene Ricci, Helen Joy's Young Entertainers and other performers. The show will be hosted by Tony Sacca.
The program is open to the public with a requested $35 per person donation.

Interfaith meeting set for AIDS Days
Different faiths from around the valley are joining together in recognition of World AIDS Day at event at 2 p.m. Sunday at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave.
Associate Senior Pastor Dale Olson will begin the service with a prayer. Additional participants will include singers from Congregation Ner Tamid, New Vision Theatre, the Las Vegas Gay and Lesbian Chorus, First Presbyterian Hand Bell Choir plus additional music and speakers.
