19 Southern Nevadans become Eagle Scouts

Nineteen Southern Nevada young men have earned the distinction of Eagle Scout from the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Among those honored are Burton Lee Miller, 17, of Boulder City and Rishawn Miguel Newman, 18, of Henderson.

Those from Las Vegas named Eagle Scouts are Jared Paul Callister, 18; Joshua Steven Campos, 18; Clay Randall Dyer, 18; Brandon Bryce Gines, 16; Nicholas Shaun Johnson, 14; Ryan Timothy Kelly, 15; William Scott King, 18; Aaron Joseph Larotonda, 18; Brian Steven Marx, 15; Shawn Sars Moe, 17; David Gentry Royal, 13; Shain Nicolai Smith, 13; Alan Stephens, 18; John Frank Struve Jr., 18; Brandon Lloyd Tippetts, 18; Jesse Truman, 17; and Brandon Lane Waite, 16.
