James Austin
James Austin, 48, of North Las Vegas died Oct. 24 in Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1954.
Services were scheduled at 8 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Wendell Edwin Campbell
Wendell Edwin Campbell, 88, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Miltonvale, Kan. A resident for 10 years, he had been a department head of social work at Azusa Pacific College, head of Social Services for American Baptist Children's Home and president of Weslyn Methodist College in Miltonvale, Kan.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Campbell of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in First Nazarene Church, 3825 Pecos Road.
The family suggests donations to the Gideons International.
Robert E. Clementz
Robert E. Clementz, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1917, in Cleveland. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Navy senior chief storekeeper and World War II and Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda; two sons, Mark Shultzman and Kris Shultzman, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kathy Montano of St. George, Utah; and four grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Rafael S. Jimenez
Rafael S. Jimenez, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Cuba. A resident for 28 years, he was a waiter for the Sahara hotel and Las Vegas Athletic Club.
He is survived by his wife, Evangelina; one son, Rafael Jimenez Jr., and two daughters, Adelaida Jimenez and Jenny May, all of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by a private burial.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Clifford Franklin Kelley
Clifford Franklin Kelley, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 1, 1929, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 41 years, he was a painter, employed for 20 years by Las Vegas Paint and Drywall.
He is survived by his wife, Rheta; two sons, Lynn Kelley and Robert Kelley, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, SueAnn Warden of Bay City, Mich., and Kristine Irvine of Las Vegas; one brother, Andrew Kelley of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Tuesday in the LDS Mustang and Cheyenne chapel, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Frank Loffredo
Frank Loffredo, 75, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1927.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Brooklyn, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Carmen B. Metoyer
Carmen B. Metoyer, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 28, 1926, in San Antonio. A resident for eight years, she was a retired meat packer.
She is survived by two sisters, Annie B. Arredondo of San Antonio and Louisa Bernal Quiroz of Chula Vista, Calif.; and two brothers, David Bernal of Las Vegas and Miguel Bernal of Phoenix.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Cheyenne.
Maxine Violet Pearo
Maxine Violet Pearo, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 14, 1917, on Arkansas. A longtime resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Powell of Searchlight.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in San Bernardino, Calif. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Carlo B. Prado
Carlo B. Prado, 20, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 20, 1982, in Fargo, N.D. A resident for six years, he was a student.
He is survived by his mother, Zenaida B. Prado, and one brother, Kris B. Prado, both of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Paz Butalid of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family requests donations to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Tess B. Van Reck
Tess B. Van Reck, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 21, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired beautician.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Marie Mahoney of Las Vegas; one son, Richard A. Ulrich Sr. of Farmington Hills, Mich.; one sister, Bea Macys of Chicago; one brother, Louis Szmyd of Uniontown, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Everett 'Bud' Sell
Everett "Bud" Sell, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Clovis, N.M. A resident for 34 years, he was a heavy equipement operator, and Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons, Jason Sell and Stacey Sell, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Kay Cantrell of Mountain Home, Idaho; one brother, Ray Sell of Elko; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. tonight at Open Arms Church of God, 519 Pueblo Blvd., Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Donald A. Stacy
Donald A. Stacy, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1917, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired owner and operator of a convention services company, and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; one daughter, Valerie Smith of Las Vegas; one son, Nicholas Stacy of England; and two grandchildren.

Gertrude A Wood
Gertrude A Wood, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 11, 1920, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one brother, Fred Biroschak of California.
