StumbleRebel women defeated in first tourney match

The UNLV women's volleyball team dropped its opening match of the Mountain West Conference Tournament to BYU 3-2 (30-26, 30-32, 31-30, 30-16,11-15) on Thursday night at Fort Collins, Colo.
After splitting a pair of matches during the regular season, it took a neutral site match to decide the better team. The match tied last year's final between Colorado State and Utah as the longest match in MWC Tournament history.
BYU advances to play Colorado State on Friday. UNLV returns home for the UNLV/Hardrock Thanksgiving Classic next weekend.
