Letter: UNLV fans show poor behavior
Friday, Nov. 22, 2002 | 9:44 a.m.
As a military spouse, I attended the Air Force-UNLV football game Saturday and have to say I've never seen such inexcusable behavior.
People in the stands threw full beer bottles and other containers with liquid in them at the cadet band. It was well into the game when a thrown beer bottle nearly hit a cadet, and security removed one of the culprits.
To their credit and professionalism, those proud, young cadets in uniform behaved with honor. Is this what UNLV and its fans have come to?
