Fletcher Jones Management Group of Las Vegas said it purchased six Chicago-area auto dealerships from Loeber Motors Inc. for about $50 million.
Michael Sullivan, president of Fletcher Jones Imports and Mercedes Benz of Chicago, said the move into Chicago gives the company an opportunity to tap into one of the largest auto markets in the United States.
Fletcher Jones has four dealerships in Las Vegas and Reno selling cars from Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Ford.
The Loeber dealerships, which took on the Fletcher Jones names, sell Audi, Honda, Infiniti, Nissan, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz cars.
