Currently: After a stellar season as a freshman, Jackson has busted loose in his sophomore campaign. Jackson leads the Pac-10 in rushing with 1,503 yards -- more than 400 yards better than his closest competitor. His 14 touchdowns (13 rushing, one receiving) also lead the conference, and Jackson is averaging more than 136 yards per game on the ground. Jackson stands 57 yards from breaking the Oregon State single-season rushing record going into this week's finale gainst Oregon.
Looking back: Jackson's place in Nevada prep football history is pretty secure. He rushed for almost 4,000 yards in the final two seasons of his prep career with the Sundevils (more than 2,700 in his senior year alone), and he reached the end zone 51 times.
