Freddie Acres, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 14, 1924, in Mississippi. A resident for two years, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Gloria Fountain; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private services.
O. Vernon Anderson
O. Vernon Anderson, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 11 years, he was born March 31, 1917, in Fountain Green, Utah.
He is survived by his wife, Myrle; one daughter, Carolyn Hess of Las Vegas; two sisters, Beth Turpin and Edna Maughan, both of Orem, Utah; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Alonzo Baca
Alonzo Baca, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 6, 1917, in Socorro, N.M. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired welding instructor for the federal government.
He is survived by three daughters, Rita M. Bonilla of North Las Vegas, Aurelia Carroll of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Eva Villarreal of Marble, Colo.; two sisters, Ana Leon and Ruth Jordan, both of Lakewood, Calif.; two brothers, Herman Baca of Buena Park, Calif., and Edward Baca of Carlsbad, N.M.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Forest Blair
Forest Blair, 75, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born July 8, 1927, in Altadena, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired civil engineer in the aircraft business and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Midge; one daughter, Kim Rivera of Lompoc, Calif.; one son, Stuart Blair of Twin Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Diana Senturia of Peacham, Vt., and Beverly Glover of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Bruce Blair of Guam; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Nadine Bozarth
Nadine Bozarth, 80, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 8, 1922, in Lamesa, Texas. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Wyatt of Las Vegas; three sons, Edgar Bozarth, Virgel W. Bozarth and William Bozarth, all of California; two brothers, Edward Wite of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jimmy White of New Mexico; nine grandchildren; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Don Briggs
Don Briggs, 76, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born March 3, 1926, in Ann Arbor, Mich. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired research supervisor and a World War II disabled Navy veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Virginia Myers of Henderson.

Charles Q. Brown
Charles Q. Brown, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A resident for one year, he was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca.
He is survived by three sons, Warren, Raymond and Ted; and one daughter, Sarah.

Ron Finley, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 25, 1962, in Great Falls, Mont. A resident for four years, he was a construction site supervisor.
He is survived by three daughters, Lauren Finley, Emma Finley and Kendall Finley, all of Las Vegas; and his mother, Joyce Finley of Honolulu.

Billy Joe Grover, 17, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 23, 1984, in Las Vegas. He was a stable hand.
He is survived by his father, Joey Grover, his mother, Theresa Call, his stepfather, Albert Valdez, two brothers, John A. Grover and Albert Valdez Jr., three sisters, Letica Valdez, Michelle Valdez and Alicia Valdez, and his grandparents, Irene and Larry Kinne, Lynn Call, Henry and Rebecca Castro, Sharon Grover and George and Lisa Ferreyra, all of Las Vegas.

Arnoldo Hagen, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1930, in Brazil. A resident for three years, he was an auto and truck repair shop owner and mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Lucile; one son, Paul Hagen of New Village, N.J.; one daughter, Vera Hagen of Las Vegas; one brother, Reynaldo Hagen, and one sister, Katie Baratieri, both of Brazil.; and two grandsons.

Alvin Joseph Killmer, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 11, 1937, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 11 years, he was a salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Delores; two daughters, Denise Borkenhagen and Patricia Ornelas, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Killmer of California; one sister, Cherl Wagner of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.

Daniel C. McInnis, 46, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 21, 1956, in Massachusetts. A resident for many years, he was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne.

Dan N. "Major Dan" McManigal Sr., 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a Kansas medical center.

Oscar L. 'Jack' Newcomb
Oscar L. "Jack" Newcomb, 87, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 26, 1914, in Bauxite, Ark. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired pipefitter and a member of Pipe Fitters Local 525.
He is survived by one son, Jerry L. Newcomb of Henderson; one sister, Luvenia Hurliman of Benton, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Dennis David Ohm, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 7, 1944, in Port Clinton, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, he was a taxicab driver.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; and one brother, Alan Ohm of Long Beach, Calif.

Raymond Edwin Owen, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in New Jersey. A resident for 25 years, he owned an auto repair shop and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; three sons, Randy, Rod and Rick; one sister, Marilyn; and numerous grandchildren.

William James Phillips, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born May 12, 1921, in Oil City, Pa. A resident for one year, he was a retired government auditor and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Louise G.; one son, William J. Phillips of Sydney, Australia; one sister, Marcella Flynn of Asheville, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

Allan Bourne Pulley, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 24, 1937, in San Francisco. A resident for 25 years, he owned a window cleaning service and worked in pharmaceuticals, life insurance and real estate.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Fay; nine daughters, Dreama Lynn Pulley of Oxnard, Calif., Dila Kay Dewey of Tacoma, Wash., Nancy Lou Noble, Georgiane Pulley, Deidre Pulley and Debra Hansen, all of Las Vegas, Terrie Payne of Pittsburgh, Candace Schwab of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Leslie Larson of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.; two sons, Arthur Jeffery Noble of Las Vegas and Ty Cobb of Sebastian, Fla.; one sister, Sally Kay Hudson of Temecula, Calif.; and 26 grandchildren.

He is survived by one daughter, Christy Chmiel of Pahrump; one son, Mark Rittersdorf II, his companion, Mary Rittersdorf, and his mother, Alice Meyer, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Colleen Mercer of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Timothy Rittersdorf and Patrick Rittersdorf, both of Lowell, Mich.; and one granddaughter.

Paul E. Robinson, 52, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1950. A resident for 21 years, he was a Henderson taxicab driver.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, one son, Nathan, and one daughter, Sara, all of Henderson; one sister, Carol A. Moffett of Mesa, Ariz.; and one brother, William P. Robinson Jr. of Albuquerque.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; three daughters, Angie Cole, Desiree Hughes and Ashley Shanhreaux, and one son, Cody Shangreaux, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Jackie Anderson of Hemet, Calif., Beverly Shangreaux of Albuquerque and Margaret Kyser and Barbara Tillman, both of Pierre; three brothers, John Shangreaux of Las Cruces, N.M., Richard Shangreaux of Pierre and Terry Shangreaux of LaHabra, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

John Brooking Shelton, 35, of San Angelo, Texas, died Nov. 4 in San Angelo. He was born Aug. 5, 1967, in San Bernardino, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident, he graduated with honors at Angelo State University in Texas and worked there in the biology lab.
He is survived by one daughter, Hannah of Texas; his mother, Sandra Smith, one brother, James Shelton, and one sister, Jackie Miller, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Silva of California and Judy Milsap of Ohio; and his grandparents, Florence and Charles McLeann and Nadine Heath, all of California.
Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Robert Massie Funeral Home handled out-of-town arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Alan G.; one daughter, Jennifer A. Milton, and one son, Donald J. Hoglund, both of Houston; her parents, Ronald and Velta Powell of Kingman, Ariz.; two brothers, Roger Powell of Phoenix and Terry Powell of Lonegrove, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; one daughter, Autumm Wojciechowski of Lake Tahoe; two sons, Mitchell Wojciechowski and Nicholas Wojciechowski, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Rose Wojciechowski, and one sister, Darlene Dorsett, both of Milwaukee; and one brother, Jerry Watts of Waterford, Wis.
