Housing board to see disclosure forms on bids

Disclosure forms that list all of the principals and/or partners in a company seeking to do business with the Las Vegas Housing Authority will be shown to Housing Authority commissioners before they vote on any contracts from now on, acting Executive Director Parviz Ghadiri said Tuesday.
Chairman Michael McDonald asked that commissioners be shown the disclosure forms, so commissioners would know if any of their relatives or friends are connected with a company.
Companies are already required to file the disclosure forms when they submit a bid or request for proposal with the authority, Ghadiri said. But until now that form was not part of the materials given to the commissioners before each meeting, he said.
