Stripers that measure 14-16 inches are being caught using anchovies.
Shore anglers fishing the Vegas Bay area, where the marina was previously located, are landing stripers that average 14 inches. Anchovies are landing the fish.
Anglers fishing Hemenway Harbor continue to have success for stripers and catfish that range from 14-16 inches. Anchovies continue to be the bait of choice.
More than 50 trout were creeled following the plant. Unlike the previous plants where the fish headed for deep water, these trout stayed close to shore.
Anglers fishing Cottonwood Cove report a slight decrease in success from previous weeks. A few stripers that measured 14-16 inches were landed with anchovies as bait.
Fishing pressure slowed last week due to a weather front that came through. The water levels have risen a little.
