2nd Race -- SMOKIN MIKE -- Espinoza on West trainee, draws good post for Cal-bred sprint, Mike Smokin foes for graduation? EXCESSIVEPLEASURE -- Flores aboard O'Neill trainee, needs prompt start and clean trip from rail post in maiden outing, bred for early success. Value Play -- LOGICIAN
3rd Race -- WATCHING YOU -- Draws good post for small field at 7-panel stakes, Desormeaux on Stute trainee for owner Hughes, foes might be Watching her here. ATLANTIC OCEAN -- Training at Santa Anita, Espinoza aboard Baffert trainee for owner Thoroughbred Corporation, Kentucky Cup winner solid here. Value Play -- PUXA SACO
4th Race -- MR. REED -- One of three in the field training at Santa Anita, Pincay aboard Spawr trainee, needs clean trip from rail post in sprint claimer. WINDOW B -- Draws good box, Garcia atop O'Dell trainee, fits this heat well and should make late impact here. Value Play -- PLUM GOOD DAY
