Pedestrian killed in Cal Nev Ari

A woman was struck and killed by a tanker truck about 10:15 p.m. Monday on U.S. 95 in Cal Nev Ari, between Laughlin and Searchlight, the Nevada Highway Patrol said this morning.
The woman was walking in the northbound lanes of U.S. 95 when she was hit by the truck. A 2000 Kia came behind the truck and also struck the woman. She died at the scene. Neither driver was injured.
The victim, whose name is withheld pending family notification, was at fault, the Highway Patrol said. Troopers are investigating whether the incident was an accident or suicide.
