ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastman Kodak Co. is closing two manufacturing operations in New York and Mexico and cutting up to 1,500 jobs as it struggles to rebound from a two-year slump in film sales it blamed largely on a downturn in the U.S. economy. The closings announced today are part of a plan to eliminate between 1,300 and 1,700 jobs.
