Tribute to Keller, Winget is planned
The Police Athletic League and the Business Watch Network are co-sponsoring a tribute to Sheriff Jerry Keller and Undersheriff Richard Winget on Thursday to thank them for their years of service to the community.
In addition to honoring the individuals, the funds raised at the event will benefit two community-oriented non-profit organizations and their programs.
Both organizations partner with Metro to carry out their mission. For more information, call Carolyn Grant at 889-1673.
Flu shot clinics
will be available at Wal-Mart stores. Medicare Part B participants will receive free shots. For a complete schedule of upcoming clinics, visit www.retailhealth.com, or call a Wal-Mart Pharmacy for dates and times.
