Convicted slot machine cheat Tommy Glenn Carmichael was nominated by the state Gaming Control Board last week for inclusion in the "Black Book" -- a list of criminals and undesirables who have been banned from Nevada casinos for life.
Carmichael was a suspected ringleader of a gang that used and sold slot cheating devices and was developing a system that could rig machines remotely.
He and five other local residents were indicted on charges of running a nationwide cheating ring that authorities believe cost casinos at least $5 million.
