William Franklin Burrell
William Franklin Burrell, 28, of Las Vegas died Nov. 4 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1974, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a college janitor, a Cheyenne High School graduate and an usher at Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, Santiago W. and Jean L. Burrell, and one sister, Belinda Burrell, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Skies Chapel at Nellis Air Force Base. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Claire M. Dorgan
Claire M. Dorgan, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Massachusetts. A resident for eight years, she was a retired stockbroker and dancing professor.
She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Dorgan of West Bayshore, N.Y., and Doreen Dorgan of Las Vegas.
Services were 12:30 p.m. today at the family residence. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Gladys E. Fraser
Gladys E. Fraser, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Montreal. A resident for 35 years, she was a hospital registered nurse and a member of Teaching Diabetes Association.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas; three nieces, Mary Kilgour, Bernice Wheeler and Linda Sherman; and two nephews, John Kilgour and Herbert Wheeler.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 6 p.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Eden Vale Mausoleum.
Thomas A. Howe Sr.
Thomas A. Howe Sr., 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born April 28, 1928, in Wharton, N.J. A resident for six years, he was a retired appliance repairman.
He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn McCarroll of Eugene, Ore., and Karen Jackson of Sunriver, Ore.; two sons, Dennis Howe of Hemet, Calif., and Thomas Howe Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Catherine Miller of Las Vegas and Helen Risinger of California; two brothers, Ed Howe and Gene Howe, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Hans William Mogensen
Hans William Mogensen, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 21, 1922, in Nebraska. A resident for 34 years, he was a general contractor and an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by one son, Andrew Mogensen.
He is survived by one daughter, Melody Daigle of Costa Mesa, Calif.; four brothers, Jim Mogensen, Harry Mogensen, Oliver Mogensen and Andy Mogensen; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Carl Ave. and Saylor Way LDS Chapel. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Dennis Leroy
Neiger
Dennis Leroy Neiger, 48, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. A service technician, he was born April 21, 1954, in Akron, Ohio.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Patricia Neiger of Uniontown, Ohio.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Akron. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Joseph Pataki
Joseph Pataki, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Budapest, Hungary. A resident for 31 years, he retired as a Desert Inn hotel-casino banquet manager.
He is survived by one sister, Zuzsanna Pataki of Budapest.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to Vo-Tech School, Food and Beverage Department, 5710 Mountain Vista St., Las Vegas, NV 89120.
Gayle LaVerne
Sanders
Gayle LaVerne Sanders, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1960, in Berkeley, Calif.
She is survived by seven children; her mother, Shirley Sanders; two sisters, Felecia Baptiste and Robyn Sanders, and one brother, Anthony Sanders, all of California.
A memorial service was 1 p.m. today at Odyssey Harbor House Chapel, 4011 McLeod Drive. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
