Letter: Trip to Israel wasn’t complete

It was very nice to read the Oct. 30 story about the large group of conservative Jews visiting Israel and seeing the people there shopping, smiling, and going about their daily lives.

Did they also visit the West Bank and Gaza Strip to see the Palestinians under 24-hour curfew, cowering inside their destroyed houses with Israeli soldiers training guns on their doors and Israeli tanks at every crossroads? Maybe their eyes would have opened -- but then, maybe not. "None is so blind as he that will not see."
