Girl Scouts in Goodwill project
Girl Scout troops in central and Southern Nevada will take part in the "Goodwill Good Turn Days," a project where thousands of Girl Scouts collect gently used items for Goodwill of Southern Nevada Inc. The project helps support Goodwill's mission to help those with disabilities learn job skills, find meaningful employment and begin new lives of independence.
Through Friday, girls will collect gently used household items from their home, neighborhood and circle of friends. These items will be placed into special Good Turn Days bags and dropped off at any Goodwill Retail Store or Attended Donation Center in their community. The items will then be sold at Goodwill stores to help fund training, employment, and job placement programs for the people they serve. For more information, call 597-1107.
