County begins third Van-go art project
The Clark County Parks and Community Services Department is hosting its third annual Van-go public art project, open to all artists in Southern Nevada.
In the project, county vehicles are wrapped in artwork, similar to how advertising is wrapped round Citizens Area Transit buses. The vehicles will feature selected artwork and travel throughout the county. All media, including photography and digital art will be considered. Interested artists should obtain a submissions packet by calling Diane Bush at 455-4856, or the main office at 455-8200.
The deadline for submissions is Nov. 22. Artists will receive notification by Dec. 16.
