Casino appoints key managers

Borgata, a joint venture casino resort of MGM MIRAGE and Boyd Gaming Corp., has appointed Larry Mullin to executive vice president of marketing and Jim Rigot to vice president of casino operations.

Mullin formerly served as president and chief operating officer at Trump Marina and has also held senior management positions at Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Castle and Harrah's Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.

Rigot served as vice president of table games at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut and has also held senior positions at Trump Plaza, Tropicana and Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Borgata, a $1 billion, 2,000-room hotel casino, is scheduled to open in summer 2003 in Atlantic City's Marina district.
