LV retailer’s stock falls on loss

The stock of Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. fell 60 cents, or 12 percent, to $4.60 and traded as low as $4.20 this morning.
The Minnesota-based leather-clothing and luggage retailer said its third-quarter loss was 84 cents to 87 cents a share because of lower-than-expected sales.
Wilsons was expected to have a 55-cent loss, the average estimate of five analysts surveyed by First Call. In Las Vegas, Wilsons owns the El Portal retail chain.
