Lee named All-MWC; UNLV loses in tourney

UNLV junior defender Tania Lee was selected Wednesday to the All-Mountain West Conference women's soccer first team.

Lee, a second-team selection in 2001, is one of the league's top defenders.

In the MWC tournament later in the day, fourth-seeded San Diego State converted a penalty kick in the final minute of the game to eliminate fifth-seeded UNLV a 2-1 loss.

Sophomore midfielder Annii Magliulo scored the Rebels' only goal. Freshman goalkeeper Jenna Huff made 10 saves for UNLV, who finish with a 10-8-1 mark.
