Marjorie M. Bandle

Marjorie M. Bandle, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1918, in Toledo, Iowa. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Parent Teachers Association and former den mother for the Boy Scouts.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Bandle and William Bandle, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Randy Block

Randy Block, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1952, in Carson City. A resident for 34 years, he was a sheet metal worker, a Vietnam War Navy veteran and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 88.

He is survived by his wife, Tawney; one son, Eric J. Block, his parents, Arthur and Edith Block, and his grandmother, Mary Holayter, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Agnes M. Burroughs

Agnes M. Burroughs, 66, of Las Vegas died Oct. 30 in a local hospital. She was born April 21, 1936, in Collins, N.Y. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired casino cashier for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; three daughters, Judy McNutt of Las Vegas, Holly Dimes of Big Bear, Calif., and Susan Burke of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Raymond Burke and Rodney Burke, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Patrick P. Cocco

Patrick P. Cocco, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a taxi driver and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; one son, Daniel Cocco of Cardiff, Calif.; one daughter, Barbara Henry of San Francisco; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Violet M. Collier

Violet M. Collier, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 1, 1922, in Lelia Lake, Texas. A resident for 56 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jake C.; one son, Ted Collier of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A cryptside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Carlene 'Franco' Francis

Carlene "Franco" Francis, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 10, 1952, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired entertainer.

She is survived by her husband, Dick; one daughter, Noelle Franco of Las Vegas; two brothers, Randy Shumate of Hawaii and Dan Shumate of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sandy Wilt of Peninsula, Ohio.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Mary W. Gipson, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 18, 1932, in Lumberton, N.C. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired printer.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ingram of North Las Vegas and Debra Humbert and Carol Humbert, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Ben Willoughby of Cocoa, Fla.; one sister, Gail Cockrall of Prineville, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

Stanley K. Gregory

Stanley K. Gregory, 44, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1958, in Ritzville, Wash. A resident for 18 years, he was a forklift operator, an Air Force veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 631 since 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Jeremie Gregory of the U.S. Navy and Eric Sauvageau of Fort Collins, Colo.; one daughter, Andria Arsen of North Las Vegas; his father, Charles L. Gregory of Vancouver, Wash.; two brothers, Charles Gregory of Las Vegas and Kyle Gregory of Dillingham, Alaska; and two grandchildren.

Marguerite Jensen

Marguerite Jensen, 95, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1907, in Dow, Okla. A resident for 45 years, she was a casino cashier.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Florence Turner of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Dwayne S. Manners

Dwayne S. Manners, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A prep cook, he was born Sept. 10, 1964, in Honolulu.

He is survived by two brothers, Daniel Manners of Washington state and Derrick Manners of Hawaii; one sister, Danallyn Manners-Gamiao, and his grandmother, Gertrude Cantere, both Hawaii.

Burial will be in Hawaii. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Evelyn L. McPike

Evelyn L. McPike, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 27, 1910, in Kent, Ohio. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra McGee of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas A. McPike of Porter, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Nicholas Arkie Moltrum III

Nicholas Arkie Moltrum III, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born March 27, 1936, in Long Island, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired machinist and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Eugene; three daughters, Tammie Moltrum and Wendie Atherton, both of Las Vegas, and Cindie Moltrum of Sterling, Va.; three brothers, John Moltrum of Chico, Calif., Bob Moltrum of Florida and Wayne Moltrum of Washington state; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Francis J. Mulligan

Francis J. Mulligan, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Massachusetts. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired aerospace design engineer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Susan Mulligan and Janine Alwood, both of Las Vegas; one son, Sean Mulligan of Los Angeles; one sister, Patricia Ferguson of Lowell, Mass.; two brothers, John Mulligan of New Hampshire and Michael Mulligan of Billerica, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

Nancy T. O'Briant

Nancy T. O'Briant, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Mooresville, N.C. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired hotel PBX operator.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy O. Hull of Henderson and Susan Stringfellow of Moab, Utah; one son, Donald O'Briant of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Barbour of Walterboro, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Louis A. Remero

Louis A. Remero, 80, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Litchfield, Ariz. A resident for one year, he was a retired truck driver and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Maria Dolores Davila of Henderson and Antoinette Cruz and Bertha Gonzalez, both of Fresno, Calif.; one sister, Ramona Ponce of Azusa, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

William E. Richardson

William E. Richardson, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 41 years, he was a truck driver, a pest control technician and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorotha; three sons, Michael Richardson of Henderson and Gary Richardson and Douglas Richardson, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Robert Richardson of Crane, Texas, and Jimmy Richardson of Elko; one sister, Jean; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Nancy Ann Sleziak

Nancy Ann Sleziak, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born May 13, 1944, in California. A resident for eight years, she was a nurse's aide for TLC.

She is survived by her husband, Al; one son, Kenneth Burchard; one brother, Rupert Johnson; and one sister, Joanne Combs.

Mark Storage-Romeo

Mark Storage-Romeo, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A retired hotel bartender, he was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Detroit.

He is survived by one son, Brandon Storage, his parents, Giacomo and Joanne Romeo, and one brother, Jack Romeo, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sheila Allison of McKinney, Texas.

Jean M. Sullivan

Jean M. Sullivan, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Cleveland. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired auto title clerk.

She is survived by her husband, John; two sisters, Ann Wagner of Cleveland and Cathy Ashby of Solon, Ohio; four brothers, Michael Pillar and Donald Pillar, both of Cleveland, John Pillar of Tucker, Ga., and Edward Pillar of Deming, N.M.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Joan G. Taylor

Joan G. Taylor, 76, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 19, 1926, in Illinois. A resident for 44 years, she was a journalist for the Independent Press newspaper, a Korean War Air Force veteran, past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3848, a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12 and worked on the President's Committee for Disabled Veterans for the State of Nevada, American Legion Chapter 8.

She is survived by several cousins.
