UNLV men fall to Sacramento State

Two second-half goals was all host Sacramento State needed as the Hornets topped the UNLV men's soccer team 3-1 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation league play Sunday afternoon.
Five minutes into the game, Sacramento State's Joel Rodriguez scored off a rightside cross from teammate David Fraser for the early 1-0 lead.
UNLV's lone goal came from senior Kelly Frederick, who received a cross from freshman Rod Dyachenko.
Senior goalkeeper Justin Dennis collected four saves in the loss.
The Rebels (10-7, 3-2 MPSF) host their final regular-season match on Sunday against New Mexico (15-2, 5-0 MPSF).
