Microsoft Corp. faces the prospect of more curbs on its business practices, as the world's largest software company braces for a judge to say today whether she will accept a proposed settlement in the antitrust case with the Bush administration.
U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, who heard 32 days of testimony on proposals for additional restrictions, was scheduled to issue opinions in the case this afternoon.
The opinions were to be released after the printing deadline of today's Las Vegas Sun. But the news will be available on the Sun's Internet website, lasvegassun.com
