Station extends aid program

Stations Casinos says it will extend a six-month program that provides financial and other assistance to Clark County high-need schools and nonprofit organizations.
The Caring for Our Community Partnership Program will continue through 2002, the gaming company said.
Clark County School District officials say 21 new businesses have signed up for the program.
Nonprofit organizations that have benefited include the Salvation Army, St. Jude's Ranch for Children and the Shade Tree Shelter.
