Helen Vivian Boch
Helen Vivian Boch, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. Born May 16, 1922, in Canada, she was a resident for eight years.
She is survived by one son, James Boch; two daughters, Connie Boch and Christina Peters; two brothers, James Young and Raymond Young; one sister, Rita Conron; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in California. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Alfred H. Britz
Alfred H. Britz, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born May 6, 1916, in Saint Michael, Minn. A resident for 55 years, he was a general contractor.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Jean Hogan and Dotti Evans, and one son, Larry Britz, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Katherine Kasper of Michigan; one brother, Ralph Britz of Pierz, Minn.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Bertaline Christianson
Bertaline Christianson, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 27, 1928, in California. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Mark and J. Milton Christianson II; four daughters, Barbara Dugan, Laura Davies, Debby Barton and Lynn Suartz; two sisters, Helen Lyons and Mary Jane Machado; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. June 7 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Juanita Colaizzi
Juanita Colaizzi, 55, of Las Vegas died May 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Kentucky. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Sam Colaizzi Jr., of Las Vegas.

James David Comereski
James David Comereski, 39, of Las Vegas died May 19 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 8, 1962, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a card dealer.
He is survived by his companion, Jackie Alspaugh; one son, Justin David Comereski; one daughter, Jamie Alexandria Comereski; his parents, Nick and Margaret Comereski; two brothers, Michael and Joseph; and three sisters, Jeraldine Meele, Deborah K. Smith and Michele Lynn Karns.
Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Jose Duarte
Jose Duarte, 77, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Fall River, Mass. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired entertainer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kitty; three daughters, Marilyn Bartoli, Janice Anderson and Kristina Grieco, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Donald Duarte of Somerset, Mass., Donald Capotosto of Oceanside, Calif., and Ronald Capotosto of Covina, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Sousa and Anne Marie Joerres, both of Fall River; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 9:15 a.m. Monday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St., followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Michael E. Ford
Michael E. Ford, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Malden, Mass. A resident for eight years, he was a business manager for a car dealership, and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ramune; six daughters, Heather Ford of Massachusetts, Kelly Ford and Debbie Ford, both of Rochester, and Gabrielle Ford, Danata Ford and Tracy Ford, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Mark Ford of Las Vegas and Michael Ford of Kingston, R.I.; two brothers, Richard P. Ford of Holdingford, Minn., and Gary Ford of Massachusetts; one sister, Pam Stavros of Haverhill, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Robert Neal Greer
Robert Neal Greer, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Los Angeles. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired photographer.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Neal Greer Jr., of Williams and J. Bradley Greer of Los Angeles; one brother, James Greer of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Edward Harville
Edward Harville, 56, of Las Vegas died May 24 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1945, in Chilton, Ala. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired owner of an accounting company and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris M.; four daughters, India Harville of Sarasota, Fla., and Lonyata Kidwell, Latasha Harville and C. Shantye Harville, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Corey Harville of Atlanta and Stefan Harville of Las Vegas; four sisters, Lottie Waters of West Covina, Calif., Susie Callins of Birmingham, Ala., Frances Caldwell of New York City and Floralean Tucker of Detroit; two brothers, Lester Harville Jr., of Birmingham and Cleveland Harville of Decatur, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Grover R. Larsen
Grover R. Larsen, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Livingston, Mont. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired School District transportation supervisor, World War II Army veteran, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Dennis Larsen and Frank Larsen, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Clifford Larsen of Garden Grove, Calif., and David Sheppard of Los Alamitos, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James J. Loeb
James J. Loeb, 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born March 15, 1944, in Oak Park, Ill. A resident for seven years, he was a project manager for American Fence Co.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; three daughters, Debbie Ekstrom of Lakemoor, Ill., Cheryl Naughton of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Pam Loeb of Woodstock, Ill.; his father, James L. Loeb of Henderson; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Jerry Matteucci, 40, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1961, in Detroit. A resident for 34 years, he was a bartender.
He is survived by his wife, Chrystyna; one daughter, Jenna Matteucci, and two sons, Jared Matteucci and Anthony Matteucci, all of Porterville, Calif.; his parents, David and Josephine Alexander of Henderson; one brother, Andy Matteucci of Las Vegas; and one sister, Tina Dettre of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 3 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Raymond F. Parker
Raymond F. Parker, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 10, 1935, in Sweetwater, Texas. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired owner/operator of a concrete company, and a member of the Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; four daughters, Sharon Guild of Alton, N.Y., Donna Canfield of Las Vegas, Merry Graham of San Diego and Tina Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska.; three brothers, James Parker of Abilene, Texas, Lee Parker of Las Vegas and Jonny Parker of Texas; one sister, Wyvone Thompson of Abilene; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call the mortuary 2-4 p.m. Saturday. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Joseph Palumbo
Joseph Palumbo, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. Born Sept. 22, 1931, in Providence, R.I., he was a business owner.
He is survived by one son, Joseph Anthony Palumbo Jr., of California; and one grandchild.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Rhode Island. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
Joseph Pennacchio
Joseph Pennacchio, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 2, 1924, in New Jersey. A resident for for one year, he was an auto worker.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; two sons, Louis Pennacchio and Michael Pennacchio, both of New Jersey; and one daughter, Rita Sansone of New Mexico.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in North Arlington, N.J. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Charles West Rennie
Charles West Rennie, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 10, 1923, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired service technician for a coffee company, World War II Navy veteran, and a member of the Las Vegas Railway Society.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Charles and Ed; two daughters, Charlotte Vernon and Pauline Rennie; one brother, Ed Rennie; one sister, Betty Crane; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Deloise A. Sansberry
Deloise A. Sansberry, 55, of North Las Vegas died May 24 in North Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1946, in Tallulah, La. A resident for three years, she was a retired telephone company installer.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Sansberry of Atlanta; one daughter, Chaundra Pitts, and her mother, Joanna Sansberry, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Dr. Richmond Calvin of Granger, Ind., J.L. Calvin of Las Vegas and Alex Sansberry Jr., of Compton, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Thomas of Kansas City and Audrey Sansberry of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Carver Baptist Church, 1221 N. J St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Hollie R. Scruggs
Hollie R. Scruggs, 51, a recent resident of Las Vegas, died May 6 in Palo Alto, Calif. She was born in California and was a graduate of Pitzer College, Claremont, Calif., and the University of California-Berkeley.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn; and her uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Abundant Life Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1720 N. J St.

Dan L. Smith
Dan L. Smith, 59, of Las Vegas died May 23 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, he was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Mehesan and Danielle Smith, both of Ocoee, Fla.; and two sisters, Diane Tibbets and Marian Caffroy.
A memorial service was scheduled at 11 a.m. today at Sun City Community Church, 8560 Del Webb Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, handled arrangements.
Alice M. Solomon
Alice M. Solomon, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 30, 1908, in Fairfield, Texas. A resident for 10 years, she was a caterer and a deconess at Village Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Garland Walker of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.
Rayfield E. Stauffer
Rayfield E. Stauffer, 90, of Las Vegas died May 18 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1911, in Nazareth, Pa. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired casino owner, World War II Air Force veteran, and a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite Zelzah Shrine Temple, Royal Order of Jesters and the Boys and Girls Club.
He is survived by his wife, Edna.

Niko DeShawn Taylor, 11, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1991, in Las Vegas. He was a fifth grade student.
He is survived by his mother, Sheliqua I-shia Thompson, his father, Nelson Taylor Jr., two brothers, Darius Thompson and Anthony Taylor, two sisters, Diamond Thompson and Na' Jear Anderson, and his grandparents, Yvonne Thompson, Osberia Smith, Michaela Taylor and Nelson Taylor, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m Sunday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Mary Margaret Webster
Mary Margaret Webster, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Newton Mass. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired cook.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas of Las Vegas and William of New York; one daughter, Susan Webster of Montana; one brother, Thomas Shaughnessy of Massachusetts; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
