Las Vegas Area Fishing Report: Anglers find more success at Boulder Basin

Fishing continues to be good for striped bass at Lake Mead in the Overton Arm and has picked up significantly in the Boulder Basin.
Shore anglers fishing near the lower campgrounds at Echo Bay were successful in landing more than 40 stripers and a few largemouth bass. The fishing at Saddle Cove, Sand Island and Las Vegas Bay in the Boulder Basin saw fair succcess for stripers.
Boaters who have been fishing the Overton Arm have had good success for stripers at Fish Island, St. Thomas and Stewart's Point.
Anglers fishing with shrimp have been successful landing catfish at Fish Island.
